While on the bus coming home from work, I saw THE most garish, overly-done house I've ever seen. You know the kind? Enough lights to drain the resources of the National Grid. Santa Clauses, in various designs, some swinging, some going up and down on ropes. Signs flashing "Merry Christmas" as if the owner of such 'decorations' is calling on everyone who sees them to have a seizure. They also had one of those 8ft air blown snowmen, complete with top hat and sweeping brush.

Do you know what I was thinking as I passed this crazy looking grotto?

The tree shall be going up tomorrow. We shall decorate the house in all manner of tinsel and craziness.
